A new collection account just appeared on my credit report, what can I do?

Anytime a new collection appears, we will add it to your disputes. If you would like to know more information on the collection/original creditor, simply search for their name in a search engine to obtain contact information. Then you can request that they send you a letter. Unfortunately, we are unable to call them on your behalf. When you call the creditor, do not admit to the debt. Simply request that they send a letter providing more information about the debt because  it is appearing on your credit report.
